Shopping

So I turned in my resignation and really took a close look at the people around me. There really are a lot of people I'm going to miss there. It will be nice to be away from the call center experience but it really is a great bunch of people there.

With my resignation, I received a lot of sad coworkers and really realized just how much I'm going to be missed. Mike expressed his sorrow and everyone that I thought wouldn't care seem to care more than I imagined. I'm going to miss most people.

As you probably know, there has been benefits to working there. They have given many bonuses to buy clothes, shoes, dinner, etc... For my last week, and because the company had a successful week in meeting goals, I get to go out and spend up to $60 towards a new shirt. What make the irony is that I needed a new shirt for my new and upcoming job. Also as an added benefit, the new quarter starts Monday which means Ill get my free quarterly headset. A nice benefit before leaving.

So today I'm going shopping in the new Wesfield Shopping Center. The new mall opened Thursday and SF now has a Bloomingdales. Its nice inside but there is a almost unbearable amount of people. I see people going in but barely anyone coming out.

On a more social note, last night I went to a straight bar in the Tenderloin. For those who know me, straight bars scare me and to make it worse the Tenderloin scares me too. Double Whammy was my first thought, but when I got there I was greeted by people I knew, one of the friendliest and excellent bartenders I've met yet, and a scene that resembled the old Tara's. Coincidently enough it was called The Nitecap which in the older Tara days people would start there and end there.

Lisa, the bartender, made me one of the best alabama slammers I've had in years. She didn't just take care of her patrons in a drinking sense but encouraged people to drink water in between. She was very caring, fun, and a great bartender to be around.

So the reason I was there was that it was my friend Stephens birthday. I'm not sure how old he is but I can say he is hot. Everyone seemed to have a "gay" ole time and it was great to be somewhere new. Thanks Stephen for expanding my horizons and making what I thought would be a dump, a great time. Happy Birthday.

Ok enough blogging. Time to shop!
