Pride
So people have been blogging about last weekends pride was a good time. A bit long but good. The only exception was the parade which seemed to have a lot of gaps between floats. Other than that the Pink Party was fun as well as the festivities at the Civic Center after the parade. I believe they estimated a million people and from the looks of it, they were definitely close.
This year Leather Alley was moved to a bigger location. It provided a bit more room for people which allowed people to hang out more. It used to be in a smaller location and people seemed to stop by and move on because it was too crowded.
After venturing off on my own (because keeping a group together in this evvironment of people is tough to do without a lot of waiting around) I met up with Jay and we ended up over at the Eagle. Rob showed up and soon after Matt and Jason. I met some new people, had a great time and ended the night with a smile.
Monday night I finally met up with my friends from Rochester who were in town for pride. We started at daddys (I still can't call it 440 Castro as its new name). We ended up at Metro and talking about old friends, old times, and had lots of fun.
This week at work has been pretty busy. Its been going by pretty fast and I'm looking forward to having a 4 day weekend. I will be getting my boots this weekend which work has given us $75 toward new shoes. I'm so glad I waited.
