A few things off topic
First I found out my dad has to have heart surgery next week. Im not sure how to feel however there has been a huge sense of concern. It reminds me that he is getting older, I am getting older, and life sometimes passes by too quickly.
As for work, yesterday was my first day back. I found out they are offering a voluntary resignation package to all the employees. I emailed the Customer service manager to find out more and was approached by Mike (the CEO and big boss) to talk me out of leaving. It made me feel good that they didnt want me to take them up on it. I think Ill stay a bit longer with the company.
Last night we watched Tales of the City on Logo. It was my first time watching this old TV show and Ive heard so much about it. Its based in SF and I just got that sense of home watching it. Like it could be happening right around the corner. With referrences to The End Up, Upper Market, and back drops of the Trans America building, I got the sense it was really in SF. I have to say, I really enjoyed it.
