Saturday, at the library

So its Saturday, I finally made it out of my apartment after chatting online and playing with photoshop some more. For those who havent seen my latest creation, you can check it out at www.desmondsdoghouse.com/Cosmotime

So I figured I would come and check out the library today and kill some time. Its free, it has wireless internet, and lots of great books right? Well two out of three aint bad. Its free and it has wireless internet, but the books are NOT up to date. I so miss Rochesters library right now. This place is huge but filled with outdated stuff.

Two things in particular that I wanted (which I know Rochester would have) is 1) books on photoshop and 2) learning spanish. I also figured if they had The Andy Worhol Diaries I would check that out as well since it came recommended by a friend.

Well all the photoshop books are out and not due back for several weeks. When they come back there is at least 2 or 3 people with reserve tickets on them. Same applies for the learning to speak spanish. Whats the sense of having a library where the books are always out? Andy Worhol Diaries? Dont even think about it! Im lucky to be walking out of here with The Letter of Robert Frost. Ok, so Im ok with that one.

*chuckle* well at least I am online briefly to post this message live from the place without learning. The building without books. The...well you get the idea.

So Im off to Castro and do some window shopping and kill some more time. 45 minutes before my muni transfer expires. Gotta hurry :-)
