Arrived in Rochester
I arrived in Rochester this morning at 8:30am. What a flight. 4 hours to Detroit, an hour and a half layover, and an hour to Rochester. This translates to 3 hours sleep, on a plane, in a middle seat, in between two guys who figit. So I was on 3 hours sleep and now the time difference, I lost another 3 hours.
Nadine and Renee picked me up. They were right on time as I went down to pick up my bags. It was great to see them again. I noticed on the plane, just thinking of them being there, put a smile on my face and I didnt even realize it until it was already there.
We went to breakfast at Jines (my choice). I missed the place and had the Park and Berkley omlette (my old choice). From there we went to Blue Cross and all I can say is wow! What a response I got and a warm welcome from so many people I didnt even plan on seeing. I really miss the warmth and friendship I had there. Hopefully some day Ill have that again in San Francisco.
I checked into the hotel around 2pm and was exhausted. The room sucks but hey, you get what you pay for I guess. The tv doesnt work, the tub gets plugged up and basically the bathroom needs repairs. I should have expected it but didnt.
So I got my computer set up to go online and then took an hour and a half nap. I got a hold of Chris and we went to eat at The Keg (I think thats the name) which is partially Brians restaurant. Its downstairs from the German House and it really looks good in there (if you like sports bars lol).
From there we were off to the Forum for a quickie. Then the Pub around 9ish. Played a few games of darts, then Jeffy showed up, then Kym, Marc, Stan & Reid, then Jarrod and Geoff. It really was nice to see everyone else that was there and it seemed pretty busy but not quite as busy as it used to be.
Needless to say, after 4 Jack & Cokes, a watermellon vodka drink, several beers, and several shots of Jeager, I was ready to pass out from exhaustion and drunkeness. I did one of my famous "Ive gotta go now!" routines and passed out drunk.
